Buzzer

Buzzer is used to notify driver about some special events: authentication requirement, overspeeding, harsh driving and other.

This equipment is supported by all Xirgo Global devices of FMS series: ONE, Light, Light+, StCAN, Tacho, XtCAN.

a) Physical connection.

Connect Temperature as in schematics below:

Open

Red wire of Buzzer connect to constant power, black - to output, for example Out2.

b) Adjustments in Logic Template.

To configure device to work with external equipment, need to make adjustments in Logic template, assigned to your device.

To activate buzzer in certain scenario, it should be logically described. Check examples of buzzer configuration during overspeeding and harsh events in Examples.

c) Displaying in Monitoring platform.

Buzzer is mostly used for local notification, but in monitoring platform you can monitor when it was active. Output statuses are represented in digital inputs In10-In12.

In10 = Out1

In11 = Out2

In12 = Out3

Value can be 1 (On) or 0 (Off).
