Script Description

Device waits for any CAN message, if message was received - checks if it’s a message carrying data, if not, then waiting for another CAN message, if yes, then a value is set to sensor which user has selected in settings template (inside FMSET).

Sensors values and settings definition:

  1. Fuel consumed since flow meter power ON: Value in liters, resolution 0,5L

  2. Fuel consumed (not resettable): Value in liters, resolution 0,5L

  3. Fuel consumed since flow meter power ON - high resolution: Value in liters, resolution 0,001L

  4. Fuel consumed (not resettable) - high resolution: Value in liters, resolution 0,001L

  5. Instant fuel consumption: Value in liters per hour, resolution 0,05L/hour

  6. Time of fuel flow: Value in hours, resolution 0,05H

  7. Fuel temperature (supply line): Value in Celsius, resolution 1C

Configuration

Inside fmset it's possible to select CAN - BUS channel and onto which sensors it is possible to save values that has been received from Eurosens Direct/Delta CAN devices.

Connection

Direct CAN and Delta CAN connects similarly, the only difference is that Delta can needs Terminating resistor between CAN H and CAN L lines.

Eurosens Direct CAN connection:

  • Yellow Direct CAN wire connects with our orange CAN H wire

  • Green Direct CAN wire connects with our orange striped CAN L wire

  • Brown Direct CAN wire connects with common ground

  • Red wire connects with positive 12V

Eurosens Delta CAN connection:

  • Yellow Direct CAN wire connects with our orange CAN H wire

  • Green Direct CAN wire connects with our orange striped CAN L wire

  • Brown Direct CAN wire connects with common ground

  • Red wire connects with positive 12V

  • Terminating resistor (should be included in Delta CAN package) connects between CAN H and CAN L wires
