J1708 line configuration

When physical connection is done, for example using J1708 contact-less reader, need to configure logic template, assigned to device.

Step 1: Edit Logic template.

Visit FMset → Settings → Logic template → Select logic template

Step 2: Set proper reading program for EIA485 interface.

Select 5.8 F_EIA485FunctionSelect → Select J1708 FMS Gateway

Enable J1708 parameters:

J1708 can provide following parameters: fuel level, engine hours, total fuel used, fuel consumption. Depending on the model or assembly of vehicle, some of mentioned parameters can be missing in J1708 line.
