What are device events? How to enable/disable them? What do they mean?

Device events:

Devices have an option to send events that may indicate some behaviour like modem reboot, power supply connection, TCP session creation, Tachograph download process steps, and many more.

Enabling/Disabling device events:

FMS500 Series:

Open the required Logic template and find 5.1a F_GeneralBitConfig line.

Make sure that “Disable events” value is unchecked if You want to enable events.

If You want to disable events, please tick the checkbox.

FMS500 SDK, XG3780/XG4780 Series

Open the required settings template. On the left side of the settings template, click on: Miscellaneous → Event logging. An event logging window on the right side will appear. In that window, click on +ADD button and a new device event logging line will appear.

Mark the checkbox in order to enable device events.

Unmark the checkbox in order to disable device events.
