iButton read

When physical connection done, need to make adjustments in Setting template, assigned to your device.

Firstly, enable 1Wire interface:

In older setting templates version can be “Multiple temperature read” function, which means that it can read iButton and temperature sensors, so in older version select it.

Secondly, insert parameter of ID to be sent to monitoring platform in “Data recording” function.

Open

If you set Threshold to be “1”, you will get instant message on a change of ID.

In case you want to use iButton with immobilization, use Common script. In such case instead of “Multiple temperature read”, would need to set “Script access” under 1-wire function.
